Ingredients

  • 2 large oranges peeled
  • 2 large lemons peeled
  • 8 ounces fresh ginger root chopped into chunks
  • 8 ounces fresh turmeric root chopped into chunks
  • 1 pinch black pepper
  • 1/2 cup water adjust as needed

Instructions

  • Remove the peel from oranges and lemons using a knife. Cut the ginger and turmeric into 1-2 inch pieces for easier blending.
  • Add all ingredients to a high-speed blender and blend until completely smooth, about 60 seconds.
  • Pour the blended mixture through a fine mesh strainer, nut milk bag, or cheesecloth into a bowl. Press the pulp with a spoon to extract maximum liquid.
  • Transfer the strained juice into small glass bottles or jars. Store in refrigerator for up to 2 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
